Internal material of TATAMI: Straw and woody fiber board
Straw TATAMI is traditional TATAMI of Japan.
However, there is a possibility to be stopped in customs in your country when exporting from Japan.
EU nations are importable without trouble.
The license is necessary for USA.
Woody fiber board TATAMI is standard TATAMI in present Japan.
It is importable when exporting from Japan in most countries.

This is base of the tatami-mat
There are roughly separately two kinds of sizes of TATAMI.
1: It can be processed to the one within width 90cm, the one within length 180cm.
2: It can be processed to the one within width 100cm, the one within length 200cm.
A thickness is combined in these two kinds.
There are 30mm, 55mm and 60mm in the thickness.

The process that a tatami is made.
1: Cut Igusa sheet in the specified size.
2: Cut the foundation of the tatami in the same size, too.
3: Fix Igusa sheet and the foundation of the tatami with the thread.
4: Furthermore, fix a belt on the both sides with the thread, and it is completion.
