So bauen Sie Ihre Tatami (Kurzfassung)
  1. Sperrholz: 2 mm schmaler und 3 mm kürzer als das Endmaß zuschneiden, höchstens 2 cm dick.
  2. Randband: das Randband (Heri) auf beiden Seiten entlang der Naht falten.
  3. Auflegen: die Goza mit der Oberseite nach unten legen und das Sperrholz darauflegen. Die Goza steht an jedem Ende etwa 15 cm über.
  4. Enden: ein Ende umschlagen und auf der Rückseite festtackern. Die Goza zum anderen Ende straff ziehen und alle 3 cm tackern. Das Randband nicht tackern.
  5. Ecken: das Randband kräftig ziehen, an den vier Ecken nach innen falten und tackern. Lassen Sie die Matte dabei von jemandem festhalten.
  6. Abschluss: das Randband auf der Rückseite des Sperrholzes festtackern. Falten mit Handtuch und Dampfbügeleisen glätten, das Eisen dabei ständig bewegen. Das Randband ist aus Nylon und schmilzt bei direktem Kontakt mit dem Bügeleisen.

Sie benötigen: Sperrholz, Tacker, Heftklammern, Hammer, Handschuhe.
